FS19 ?

I actually didn't know anyone was using AutoDrive and I really didn't expect someone to miss it :D
But that is nice to hear. Thank you.

So I did not have any plans to convert AutoDrive to FS19. But if there is interest, I might look at it after I am done with the FS19_StoryMode mod. But I can't make any promises. The code was honestly not the most well maintained and structured one, since it was my first 'bigger' lua project. Also the api has apparanetly changed quite a bit from FS17 to FS19 and if this poses too much of a problem, I will either not try a direct conversion at all or maybe if I really feel like it, I will start something from scratch with similar feautures, but I doubt it.

Courseplay beta is already out and I am sure it can do quite a few more things than the little AutoDrive mod, so there is also not to much incentive to start programming it I suppose.

Thank you for the fast answer. Courseplay is also very nice, but I have always used AutoDrive to run courses for Courseplay. First of all, I took the streets and places of the maps and then I recorded the courses with Courseplay. It is also very convenient to travel from one place to another wherever you are on the map. So I miss AutoDrive very much and if it would be relatively easy to convert it I would be very happy.

I used AutoDrive in FS17 as well and really loved the concept of having a network and not single routes.
I also used it to record courseplay courses, like @Williwillswisse described. However, if you change the network for some reason, you need to re-record all tracks in courseplay...
And the function where a tractor will wait for another tractor to pass does not work with courseplay ass well.
I suggested in a courseplay FeatureRequest to implement the functionality of AutoDrive into Courseplay.
In my opinion, this would be the best of the two worlds.
For example you could set up a seeding-course on a field and combine it with a track between two point from AutoDrive where the implement could fill up.

So something like this:
seeding-field1 + Field1 + SeedSilo + Field1
I hope this makes any sense.

However, I would really love to see those two great mods combined and am wondering if you would be willing to work together with the Devs of courseplay if they are interested. I guess that many people would love those features.

Hello guys,
I finally managed to convert AutoDrive
It's still in early beta status and I will wait before releasing it to an official modding site. But feel free to try it out if you like.
Still a lot of things to do:
-No multiplayer yet
-No trigger except the placeable silo unloading trigger
-Vehicles do not stop early enough before busy dual roads
-and much more^^

Hey Stephan, today evening I just finished recording all courses of the NF Marsch. Recording and calculating runs a lot smoother than in FS17. While calculating it is possible to play on. There is only one thing. In FS17 I use the folowing keymapping: Leftalt + Arrow Up – activate Mouse Leftalt + Arrow Left – previous location Leftalt + Arrow Right – next location Leftalt + Arrow Down – drive I always use a Laptop without Mouse. When i activate AutoDrive mouse the touchpad works with camera position, but the arrow keys do not. Also the right mouse button conflicts with CP. Can i use the new Version with the new file Format and it will convert my file or do i have drive everthing again. Is it possible to write in german? That would be a lot easyer for me. Um deine Kurse zu übernehmen, solltest du die aktuelle config.xml am Besten erst einmal in einem anderen Ordner absichern (der savegame Ordner wird beim Abspeichern immer erst geputzt vom LS)

Das interner Format der Datei wurde nicht geändert, lediglich der Name der Datei, sodass man leichter zwischen configs für verschiedene Maps unterscheiden kann. Starte am Besten einfach mal mit der neuen Version nachdem du deine config gespeichert hast und dann wird er eine neue Datei beim Speichern erzeugen. Vermutlich AutoDrive_NFMarsch_config.xml. Diese kannst du dann einfach mit deiner alten ersetzen, wenn du den Namen anpasst.

Kannst du mir das Problem mit dem Touchpad/Pfeiltasten nochmal genau erklären? Am besten in einem neuen Issue für die FS19 Version.
Sobald du die Maus von AutoDrive aktivierst, wird die Kamerabewegung eigentlich deaktiviert, egal ob mit Maus oder Tasten.

Und die rechte Maustaste kannst du ja in der Steuerung umbelegen auf die mittlere oder wie es dir sonst passt :-)

Just found out about AutoDrive and watched a few videos. Am a long time CoursePlay user and seeing this is just amazing. I hope you continue this good work and thank you very much for this awesome mod.
