Audit and fix broken external links

Many external links throughout the documentation need to be verified and potentially updated. Some may be broken or pointing to outdated resources.

Areas to Check

• All markdown files in docs/ directory
• Links to external tools, platforms, and resources
• Blog posts and tutorial references
• GitHub repository links

Acceptance Criteria

• Test all external links for functionality
• Replace broken links with working alternatives
• Update outdated resources with current versions
• Document any links that should be removed entirely

Priority: Medium
Good for: First-time contributors, anyone who enjoys detective work
Estimated effort: 3-4 hours
Tools needed: Browser, link checker tools (optional)
