Can't find BAG Tracking list "track_code" field definitions for numerical values

I've been trying to find a definition for the track_code field in the BAG tracking list but I've been unsuccessful. Is there an established definition table for different values that would be populated in the track_code? When I look in a random NOAA BAG that has 5 "designated soundings," all of them have the same track_code = 1. Any ideas on the track_code definitions? Or should we make some if they don't exist?
