VideoPlayer: Received no data within the time limit of 25 seconds

The red message VideoPlayer: Received no data within the time limit of 25 seconds comes up if opening https://demo.frametrail.org/examples/rezo-cdu/#hypervideo=3&t=385 on the Chromium Mobile Browser.

Maybe this also happen on the official Chrome Mobile browser for reproducing.

The first message is Loading.. and then the error message comes.

Thanks for the feedback. This is a known (and unfortunate) issue. Chromium doesn't support proprietary codecs like MP4 / H264 out of the box (a custom build is needed for that). As FrameTrail relies on a file-based architecture (no databases, no video encoding backend, etc.), this would mean we have to additionally include WebM files for every video (so the user would need to transcode and upload two files as FrameTrail doesn't take care of the transcoding part). For the sake of simplicity we decided to remove this option and live with the fact, that Chromium users will experience this bug. As far as I'm concerned, Chromium is the only "kind-of mainstream browser" which does this. The only way around this is using a streaming service to host the videos (FrameTrail has built-in support for Youtube and Vimeo, plus any source that delivers an HLS stream like brightcove etc.).
