Clear expired entries is not done on every startup

Unlike the documentation :

Delete expired entries
It's automatically done on every startup, but you can do it manually.

The expired entries are not cleared when resume or restart my app... I don't see that feature in the source code...
But, I maybe forget to do something in my app...

Yea that is what I wonder. I want to delete the things from cache automatically immediately after they expired but couldn't see anything to do that in the documentation??
