Interactive Visualization feature #54

Description

@knaegle

**Feature: To allow easy plotting/alterations and saving of publication quality data and figures **

  1. A user can upload their two KSTAR-derived results for an experiment (activities and FPR, which are .tsv files saved as a result of analysis.) This will autopopulate a dot plot figure.
  2. The user can manipulate the plot in the following way
  • Clustering (using hierarchical clustering) (including clustering by experimental dimension or by kinase dimension, or by both). Enable turning on/off the dendrogram that goes with clustering.
  • Sort (from lowest to highest kinases by a specific data column). (TBD are there other criteria for sort, e.g. largest differential scores?)
  • Allow reordering of experimental columns (default will plot them as they appear in the tsv file, but maybe people want to move these around).
  • Allow hiding of an experimental column(s)
  • Allow manual reordering of kinases as well (make this compatible with the sort)
  • hide a kinase (or sets of kinases). Automatically (hide all kinases by a threshold for example (FPR or score), or manually by turning on/off lists.
  1. Final figures can be exported in different formats (svg, png, jpg, eps, tif).
  2. Option to export the "new"/modified activities and FPR that include only the data columns and kinases that are shown in figure and in the order they are in the figure (this is companion data to match a figure (visible data) for people's publications and for them to reload quickly just that data for plotting or exporting in a different format).
  3. Save the programmatic configuration of a specific plot so someone could regenerate exactly the same plot with this file+activities+FPR)
