When there are too many significant figures in the XYZ diffusion-sensitizing gradient coordinates in a DWI header, the xml output from DTIPrep does not report the motion-correction information for some of the gradients. These gradients are labeled in the xml as "INCLUDE" rather than "EDDY_MOTION_CORRECTED". There is a workaround for this issue: the DWI headers can be hacked so that the diffusion-sensitizing gradient coordinates have fewer significant figures. I tried hacking the coordinates so that each coordinate had 6 or fewer significant figures. When I then ran DTIPrep, it reported the motion-correction information for all gradients in the xml.
