Does not work on some instances of Mastodon

Describe the bug
Does not work at all, except showing the number of tabs and searching, without actually show any search results. See screenshot.

This happens on the following instances of Mastodon:
https://todon.nl/
https://linuxrocks.online/
https://octodon.social

But not on:
https://toot.kuba-orlik.name/

These are just the ones I've checked.

What the ones where the bug is present have in common is that they are on the 3.5 branch of Mastodon, while the one where TB is not buggy is on the older 3.3 branch. That's the only connection I see.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

Expected behavior
It should just be normal :)
