[REQUEST] Support more types markdown in the update notification popups

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

When a new update of an existing mod was checked with the update checker, those updates produce popups ingame, which also list the changelog from that update.
On github those changelogs are usually formatted with markdown, some of those are already supported, namely headers.

Others however, like bold text is not supported, see this screenshot:

Support more of the common formatting, as possible

Describe alternatives you've considered

Remove formatting that is not be supported anyways but can be filtered out easily. subsequence * can probably be interpreted as formatting
