Possible to keep font overview scroll position, glyph selection?

This is more of a question.
When toggling font windows, keeping the glyph selection (and more importantly, the view into the font document) would be great.

I can imagine there will be issues with toggling fonts w/ wildly different glyph sets, but I think an attempt at this would be useful nevertheless. @typemytpe, is this possible?

The glyphs on view in the font window, as well as the selected glyphs, are already preserved. Scroll position is not.
