RCON Password Enviro variable has no effect

Second, look like the rcon environment has no effect, setting it and using it in game results in bad rcon password =(

Is your server running on your LAN whilst you play online games? Because I have a similar setup, and my router picks up the packets being sent to a local address whilst the lobby connects me via public. I think this is to prevent attacks on your local network and can't be disabled.

I've found it works appropriately if the server is on a different network.

The other thing I can suggest are to set a longer password with no special characters and to confirm your firewall allows TCP which is required for RCON access.
