Rasberry Pi 5 PWM fan control?

Hi there,

I'm searching for a way to control PWM fan speed with Raspberry Pi 5 GPIO pins, does anyone has some documentation on how they wired the fans to a Pi and how to control the speed with software?

Looking at the 2U Mini 2x 80mm Fan Panel.stl, it's intended to put fan in the case, but how do you power them?

I'm not as much good with software as I am with hardware. I just run the 12v fans at 5v (or 7v if you have a 12v and 5v output option). The Arctic Cooling 80mm fans I'm using are basically silent at 5v and still move a decent amount of air, but you could also get a boost converter and use it to manually adjust the fan output voltage:

Hook up the VIN + to the Pi's 5v GPIO, VIN - to Pi's GND GPIO, wire the fan to the output...
