line number does not automatically get generated

When I generated pdf using the 2020 template, the line numbers did not automatically get generated. Is this normal? How should I turn the line numbers on?

Did you add this manually to the style file, or something else?

@Ofir408 I was afraid to modify the style file, in case that might be considered a reason for a desk rejection. I searched and saw other people online complain that ICLR templates haven't had line numbers for several years now, so yeah...
