Error Updating Maven configuration - NPE

I'm using eclipse 4.4.1 with the gae eclipse plugins.

After I downloaded your project, eclipse tells me that the project configuration is not up to date. When I try to update it (maven -> update project) I get a NPE.

Actually I think it's a bug within eclipse, but maybe you have some ideas on how to address it?

I cross posted here https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=454669, but the NPE seems to come from the GaeRuntimeManager.

Is there anyone at google who actually is behind the eclipse plugins and responds to issues??

I'm still unable to get this to run in eclipse and postet here, on google groups and on stack overflow without any response so far!
