NPV profitability_index #1012
Description
A few suggestions have been provided to make the NPV profitability index calculation more robust from #716:
- We can keep track of the profitability index numerator and denominator by giving it a dedicated data type. Then we can favour assets with higher numerators (total_annualised_surplus) even if the denominator is zero.
- If AFC is negative we should raise an error, as it should never happen (possible to be negative in grant models NPV is broken #716 (comment))
- if capacity is zero then nothing to compare.
