Have you checked out the Geany wiki recently? I've added several more scripts there, including multi-clipboard support and viewing the contents of previous SVN commits (could probably be adapted to Git easily enough).

Lol yeah, I came across one of your scripts a while ago and used it as a base to learn geany-lua scripting, so thanks!..

Cheers for the heads the heads up on the wiki - love seeing new code. These are great btw, I was playing around with the Vim keybindings all afternoon. Really cool!.. Are you working on any at the moment?

I'm working on updating my git-revisions script to produce all the files from the chosen commit, much like your s_vn-changes one and also planning a simple github integration script with issues, comments and pull requests.

I'm glad you liked them :). If you're after a tutorial, make sure you look at the latest SVN revisions script, which has a custom dialog to set preferences. Really easy, and much more flexible than the built-in dialog functions (although they are good for simpler jobs).

I haven't gotten back to the vim keybindings script yet, but once I've straightened out a custom dialog for the rest of the svn script, that is my next target.

I think a custom dialog might also do a good job of integration with a command-line FTP client. That could be a fair bit of work, though. I haven't used ftp much.

If you're on the geany-devel mailing list, I normally post script news there. Since you've started a project, though, I'll try to keep you updated independently.

I joined the geany-devel mailing list last night. Looking forward to hearing more about the developments and help out where I can. I'd really like to get access to the code-completion prompt from the LUA interface and possibly open up some other structures so I'm looking into that currently in the plugin. What's the best way to contact you?

Changes include:

• Introduced a 'fileExtensions' table to allow filtering of supported file types
• Refactored search string generation to allow easy transition to multiple file types
• Introduced 'debugEnabled' flag to control debugging output, so you don't have to comment things out

You might also want to take a look at the 'getOutputLines' function from the latest version of svn-changes. It's a generic function to get the output of an arbitrary shell command, and it uses popen to avoid creating temporary files. Could be useful for simplifying 'findOpenFiles' and 'findFiles'.
