wiki for documentation

I think it would very helpful, to have a WIKI kind of place where we could work on the min-devkit documentation as a community and post examples for certain cases.

Yesterday for example it took me some hours to figure out how to create an enum_index attribute (not symbol) and I would have loved to share the solution in a central place. It was straight forward at the end, but it requires two steps more with I had dig out from the code bases.

Yes absolutely. Currently it is not editable by the community. Maybe we could look for some 'maintainers', a few responsible persons that can accept changes/contributions, to prevent that it get's out of hand and possibly maintaining a certain structure. I know from the regular forum that there are a handful of persons working with the min-devkit. Maybe those could be contacted and asked. I would also be available to be one of them.

This sounds like a good idea to me. I’ll check with colleagues about their thoughts about opening it up and how to make sure it’s maintained, and if I don’t get back to you sometime next week, please feel free to remind me with a comment here.

Hi @janmech , I just brought this up with others at Cycling '74. The short answer is that we won't be able to open the GitHub wiki right now to the public, but we are actively discussing ways to make it easier for the community to share these kinds of development tips and resources with each other beyond existing things like the forum.

In the meantime, if you were inclined to start up your own GitHub repository and wiki (or similar resource), I'd be happy to link to such a resource in the README of min-devkit and min-api.

It's good to hear that there is some process running in the background, how to structure community contributions, especially since in the past years the open sourced parts of Cycling'74 work has be growing steadily. Currently I think I won't open up additional resource, as nice as will be to have such a place, I also believe it can wait until there is a more coordinated/organized solution found.
