- Ask the groups of volunteers if you can take the responsibility of facilitator for this session
- Use the instructions on the morning orientation block to work out what to do
Why are we doing this?
To figure out how CYF works, it is useful to get stuck in! Facilitating a Saturday session involves gathering the community together and checking they're all on the same page. Once everyone's on the same page, you can get off to a good start to the day. Use the morning orientation block for guidance on how to effectively facilitate a Saturday session.
Anyone can do this, learner, trainee, volunteer, or staff. If you've already done this, encourage and support another person in your community to try it.
Acceptance criteria
- You have volunteered as a facilitator for one session using instructions on the morning orientation block
