[BUG] "Editor" settings are not remembered between sessions

Describe the bug
the editor settings (which yeah no one really uses) get reset upon reloading the page.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. change onion skinning style
2. reload and check onion skinning style

Expected behavior
editor settings are saved between sessions

Do you have a suggested solution to this issue? (ex. has another program fixed this bug a certain way? Are you familiar with where in the code base someone would need to fix this issue?)
keyboard shortcuts are saved, so there should be a way to save editor settings in a similar way

There could be a cookie that saves these settings.

There's also keyboard shortcuts. Those need to be saved when you change them. Very important.

I actually use editor settings to change onion skin.
