[BUG] SVGs can't be added to the canvas

Describe the bug
There is a bug that makes SVGs unable to be added to the Canvas

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Import an SVG
2. Attempt to add the SVG to Canvas

Expected behavior
The SVG gets added to the Canvas
