🌍 Problem Statement
Travel planning can be very difficult, including deciding on a destination, learning about the local way of life, locating attractions, setting a budget, and handling safety issues. People frequently rely on fragmented information from videos, blogs, and forums, which causes confusion and wastes time.
Particularly for novices, lone travelers, and impulsive adventurers, there is a need for a fast, conversational travel assistant that provides trustworthy and specific guidance based on a user's interests.
🛠️ Your Solution
I created WanderWhiz Bot, an AI-powered mini travel guide that offers city-specific suggestions, tips, and essential travel info in real time through a chat interface.
-
Template Chosen: Serverless GenAI assistant with LangChain.
-
Replaced the system prompt to respond as a travel assistant instead of a support agent.
-
Adjusted backend to stream responses and generate follow-up travel queries.
-
Customized UI with the branding "𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐳 B𝐨𝐭" and removed non-relevant suggestion buttons.
-
Why this approach works: It allows us to focus on fast deployment while building a unique domain-specific experience using Azure OpenAI.
-
🚧 Note: This bot is currently in early development. It is not recommended to fully rely on it for final travel planning. Always verify critical information independently.
