🌍 Problem Statement
Millions of students and healthcare learners struggle with dry, traditional anatomy resources that lack interactivity and engagement. Understanding the human skeletal system—its structure, injuries, and healing process—is often limited to static diagrams and outdated textbooks. This creates learning gaps, especially in underserved or remote learning environments where access to labs or real-time guidance is limited.
MrBones addresses this by turning anatomy into an immersive, AI-assisted, and interactive experience that feels like having a virtual tutor and lab in one.
🛠️ Your Solution
We are customizing the azd template: RAG chat with Azure AI Search + JavaScript to build a cloud-based, intelligent anatomy assistant using the Azure Developer CLI (azd) ecosystem.
👇 Here's how we're customizing it:
Template Used: RAG chat with Azure AI Search + JavaScript
Enhancements:
Added a custom Q&A interface that sends questions to Azure OpenAI (via LangChain routing)
Extended the backend with fracture simulation routes using basic medical logic
Connected to MongoDB Atlas to persist user quiz scores and Q&A logs
Deployed frontend and backend as unified services using azd up
